Merene is a Managing Director and the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Peakline, where she leads operational strategy and execution across the firm. She is responsible for optimizing business processes, integrating technology and financial systems, and enhancing firm-wide operational efficiency to drive sustainable growth, in addition to overseeing Peakline’s compliance program.
Merene previously served as the Chief Compliance Officer at CH Investment Partners, where she oversaw the compliance functions of the firm to ensure optimal efficiency and strategic coherence. She was also a Managing Director and Controller on the Partner Advisory and Operations/Finance teams, where she oversaw and managed accounting, reporting, and operational needs. Before that, Merene spent three years as the Controller at Williams Financial Group, and prior to that worked at Moore Capital Management and Ernst & Young.
Merene graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in economics and earned a Master of Science in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame in 2008. Merene currently serves on the Board of Directors of Hope Cottage in Dallas, Texas. Merene lives with her family in Plano, Texas.
